About Llorente

Llorente carries the name of Julio Aballe Llorente, the first governor of Cebu, who later served as governor of Samar in the early 1900s. The town he lent it to is Waray country rather than Cebuano, on the Eastern Samar coast, with about 18,900 people living there.
