Bacong Church
A parish church built partly of brick, a break from the coral stone used for most Spanish-period churches. The Augustinian Recollects built it in 1865 and placed it under Saint Augustine of Hippo. The belfry has a caracol stairway, and the walls carry L-shape masonry work that is rare among Philippine churches. Inside is a pipe organ that came from Zaragoza in Spain in the late 19th century.
The National Museum of the Philippines declared the church a national cultural property in 1972. The town fiesta falls on 28 August, the feast of its patron.
