About Imus City

Imus calls itself the flag capital of the Philippines, for the banner first unfurled in battle at Alapan in 1898. It is also the legal capital of Cavite, named by presidential decree in 1977, though most of the provincial offices stayed in Trece Martires and never moved. Twenty kilometres south of Metro Manila, and no longer farmland.
