About Tagbilaran City
Most people see Tagbilaran on the way to somewhere else in Bohol, which is a little unfair to the capital. The Blood Compact Shrine on the edge of town marks where Sikatuna and Legazpi drank to a treaty in 1565, and the city builds its Sandugo festival every July on the strength of it. The pasalubong stalls are the other reason to stop, peanut kisses by the bagful.
